Catherine (Catie) Sheedy teaches private voice lessons from a welcoming in-home studio near TCU in Fort Worth. Her background is in classical voice — she holds a degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Texas at Arlington — and she loves teaching a range of styles, including musical theater, pop, worship, and other contemporary genres.
Who lessons are for
All ages and skill levels are welcome, whether you're picking up singing for the first time or refining advanced technique. Lessons are supportive and encouraging, with a focus on building confidence alongside strong technique, and they're tailored to each student's goals.
What we work on
- Tone, range, and vocal confidence
- Healthy technique and breath support
- Repertoire in the styles you care about — classical to contemporary
- A personalized plan built around your goals
Your first lesson
The first lesson is all about getting to know each other. We'll assess where you currently are, talk about your musical goals, and start building a personalized plan together. You don't need to prepare anything formal — just bring yourself and a readiness to learn.
